The insert is a blend of 50% high grade duck feather and polyester to give it a weighty feel but still very soft and poofy. You can purchase matching bedsheets/ duvet covers for snow white and oyster.

Answer: Yes, all of it, including the throw cushion insert can be washed! Use a gentle wash setting and tumble dry on low heat. For the throw cushions, its best to strip the cushion covers off and wash them separate from the insert.

Answer: Yes, bamboo should last for a long time. This material may be more susceptible to getting hooked onto things, but its comfort level makes it worth it. If it does get caught on sharp objects, just snip off the loose thread and its as good as new.
