Unlike other pillows, our pillows are specially made using a dual-core construction with an inner chamber. Covered with 100% down-proof cotton fabric, they are super breathable giving you a cloud-like hotel feel.

Our pillows are designed to feel like a hotel pillow – soft and comfortable with a structured supportive core:

  • Inner core of 90% feathers and 10% down to provide support
  • Outer core covered in a 75:25 down to feather ratio
Please note that our pillows are soft and fluffy. They are not extremely stuffed

  • Mid loft:
    • smaller individuals/ women (below 160cm)
    • back sleepers or side sleepers who prefer lower pillows

Choosing the size
  • Standard pillows fit in most standard pillowcases
  • King pillows require king-sized pillowcases. Great for king or super king beds as they fill up more space
  • King pillows also make excellent back-support pillows
  • Typically, a hotel bed has 2 king sized pillows (behind) and 2 standard sized pillows (in front)

Care guide
  • As your pillow has been compressed for shipping, fluff it up and air before use. You may notice a slight natural smell of down – it dissipates quickly with use but airing helps speed it up
  • You do not need to wash your pillow regularly as it is protected by the pillowcase. Spot clean with warm water and gentle soap
  • For large stains, you may wash your pillow and tumble dry on low heat, but please ensure it is dried completely as wet feathers have a smell
  • Freshen up your pillow from time to time. Gentle tumble dry it on low heat with a damp washcloth and dryer / tennis balls (optional) for 20 minutes. Your pillow will become fluffy and new again.Gentle machine wash

3cm gusset for extra neck support

A gusset is an extra piece of material that helps expand or give structure to a pillow. It creates a side panel, in addition to a top and bottom. To get the most out of our innovative double layer construction, we included a gusset in the design. Since the filling has more space to move around, the pillow feels consistently comfortable no matter how you’re sleeping on it.

We mean it when we say soft never felt this safe. The Kapas duvet insert is certified Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX®, meaning you’re wrapping yourself with a duvet insert that is completely free from harmful substances.

Oeko-Tex® is a globally recognised third-party institution independent from the manufacturers of the fabric which certifies that textiles are free from harmful substances.

We are also certified by the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) certification. So, you can shop our duvet insert knowing that they are sustainably and ethically made!

We want every single person who has bought a Kapas product to be completely happy with their purchase. We have a 30-day guarantee period, during which, if you are unhappy with the quality of your product, be it bedsheets or towels, you can return them to us for a refund or an exchange. Kindly note that the bedsheets, duvets, pillows, towels or protectors can only be returned or refunded if they are in their original packaging with all tags still attached. Sheets and towels that are washed, stained and/or soiled cannot be returned.

We do accept exchanges for size and colour. Please note that the time taken would depend on the stock that we have in store and that this would affect the shipping time needed to send the new bedsheets and towels back to you. Kindly note that Kapas does not cover the shipping cost to sending the bedsheets or towels back to us and for sending the new bedsheets or towels to you.

If you are exchanging the items for a cheaper priced one, for example, a king fitted sheet to a single fitted sheet, we would refund the price difference.

However, if the price of the newly exchanged bedsheets are of a higher price, you would have to pay for the difference in price before we ship it out to you.

What are your pillows made of?

Answer: Our pillows are made of down and down feathers. It has 2 chambers; the inner chamber is made of 100% duck down feathers while the outer chamber is made of 75:25 down/down feathers.

What is down?

Answer: Down is the light, fluffy coating beneath the feathers of ducks and geese. Each down cluster is made from thousands of tiny fibers, like little cotton balls between the bird’s skin and feathers. Ounce per ounce down is the most efficient insulator for bedding products. It is not only lighter weight, but also has the unique ability to “breathe”, allowing excess heat and humidity to escape and allowing you to reach an ideal temperature. Down clusters are naturally very durable, it is not uncommon for people to use a down bedding item for a dozen years or more before replacing it. Down is also naturally flame retardant, making it an excellent choice for safe sleeping.

What certifications do you have?

Answer: Our pillows are OEKO-TEX certified, which means they are free from harmful chemicals. Our down pillow is also Responsible Down Standard ("RDS") certified. The Responsible Down Standard (RDS) aims to ensure that down and feathers come from animals that have not been subjected to any unnecessary harm.

How do I care for my pillow?

Very Comfortable Pillows

While reading all the review before buying this pillow, i got a very useful tip which is to get the HIGH LOFT one although i prefer a not so high pillow because i’m a petite woman. And it’s indeed true because although it is High Loft but as you sleep throughout the night, the pillow will sink in and the height will become just right to support your neck and head. Just press it in for awhile before u put ur head on the pillow if it feels too high. But don’t worry as u just need to fluff it back up to make it high and fluffy as before.

Overall i’m very happy with this pillow as i dont get my usual neck pain in the morning. The material used is thick enough to not feel the prickly feeling of duck feathers. After a few weeks using it, i can’t see any duck feather ‘escaping’ from the pillow. The smell is tolarable and goes away after a few days.

Customer service was super helpful. Although they miscalculated the stock and i had to wait for a week for them to restock, Kapas team did a good job to calm me down by giving me free pillow cases as compensation. They were even helpful enough to send my pillows using Lalamove to speed up the delivery process.

Personally I’m very happy to have found a very comfortable pillow that is both firm and soft at the same time. Most importantly, my neck pain is now cured!
