THE PERFECT WEAVE
400TC true threadcount
Our sheets are 400TC per square inch (equivalent to 1,600TC per 10cm2) weaved in a cotton sateen finish.
Don't be fooled by inflated threadcount. Any sheets with threadcount above 600TC are usually made with lower quality fibres that break down after a few washes.
Math 'magic' (by using a per 10cm2 calculation) is typically also used to inflate numbers. Just divide that number by 4 to get the true threadcount.

FAQs (Bedding)
Answer: For single and super single sheets, we manufacture 35cm (13.8 inches) deep-pocket bed sheets to account for almost all mattress heights. For all other sizes, we manufacture 43cm (17 inches) deep-pocket bed sheets.
We have tested our sheets on 10cm mattresses and they fit perfectly thanks to the tight garter.
Answer: For softer bedsheets, for the first wash, add 1 cup of baking soda to your wash cycle and 1⁄2 cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle. We have tested this multiple times and it has a huge impact towards the softness of your sheets. Kapas sheets will get softer and better with every wash.
Machine wash in cool to warm water that’s less than 40°C with like colours and fabrics, using a small amount of good quality liquid detergent (usually around half of the recommended detergent amount). Avoid using fabric softeners and chlorine bleach.
Answer: We highly recommend line drying for our sheets. Although not ideal, you can also tumble dry cotton bedding using a low heat setting to prevent shrinkage. We also recommend removing the sheets before the cycle ends and shaking out the creases (much easier when the sheets are still a little damp!).
Answer: Replace sheets when they show obvious signs of ageing such as fraying, stains or fading colour. Pillowcases will require more frequent replacement. To extend the life of your sheets, store them out of sunlight, in a cool, dry area and not in plastic containers which promote yellowing and mildew. To keep your linen cupboard neat and finding sheets a breeze, store each set in its matching pillowcase.
Answer: Our sheets wrinkly a lot less than regular short-staple cotton.
However, they do still wrinkle a little, and it’s a good thing! Anti-wrinkle sheets are made with formaldehyde (a known carcinogenic substance used for anti-wrinkle treatment). Since your skin will be in contact with our sheets for roughly 8 hours each day, our sheets are Oeko-Tex® certified, so no formaldehyde is used.

Was so glad to have found a place that sells good quality flat sheets! I had been looking for quite some time for a king flat sheet to replace a very worn one but every shop I had been to only sold fitted sheets. I’m used to having a flat sheet under my blanket so I kept looking until I found Kapas. The sheet came in good time and was very nicely packaged in a box. The material is definitely good quality cotton. What I especially like is the size of the sheet - it is generous and ample so the fold over the top of the blanket was big and stayed put throughout the night. This made for better, undisturbed sleep. A little suggestion: if the hem at the top of the sheet could be wider, like 5-6 inches wide, it would make the sheet look even better.
Vin was very helpful and gave me a suggestion to buy a queen size bedsheet to make into the special size pillow cases.
