Our premium duvet inserts are designed for our tropical weather between 18 - 27 degrees (best enjoyed with light aircond). Select from three different materials for the perfect fit:
- Down duvet: Most luxurious - fluffy and light. Usually used in 5 star hotels.
- Cotton duvet: Most breathable - compact and flatter than the other duvets. Dry-clean required
- Alternative down duvet: Most value for money
All our duvets:
- Are extremely breathable
- Are made from 100% cotton casing
- Cleverly designed with our signature smart labels
- Have 8 secure loops to tie a duvet cover securely
- Oeko-tex certified safe from harmful chemicals
Down duvet: Spot clean small stains with warm water and mild soap. Wash only if absolutely necessary (washing shortens lifespan). Tumble dry on low heat and ensure fully dried.
Cotton duvet: Dry clean when necessary.
Alternative down duvet: Gentle machine wash; hang dry or tumble dry low heat.
- Down duvet: ~150gsm. Feels like a poofy, cloud-light sleep. Breathability/coolness ~4/5. Best around 18–23°C.
- Cotton duvet: ~300gsm 100% natural cotton. Our most breathable option; a slightly weightier "hugged" feel. Breathability/coolness ~5/5. Best around 22–27°C.
- Alternative down duvet: ~200gsm premium 0.9D microfiber. Light, fluffy, hypoallergenic and vegan-friendly. Breathability/coolness ~3/5. Best around 18–23°C.

Alternative down: fluffy, hypoallergenic and vegan-friendly. Slightly less breahtable than the other two, but much better than most due to its cotton casing
Get the optimal fill power. Avoid goose down duvets for tropical weather!
Our 80/20 duck down–feather blend offers cloud-like fluffiness without heaviness.
RDS certified for ethical sourcing
Our duvets use breathable cotton casings to maximise airflow. Down uses down-proof cotton; alternative down and cotton inserts use smooth, breathable cotton sateen casings.
Down and alternative down are machine-washable (low heat tumble dry, dry fully). Cotton duvets should be dry-cleaned when necessary.
Use with our 400TC extra-long staple cotton duvet covers for the best feel and airflow.

Don’t worry, this is completely normal!
That crinkly noise of the duvet is due to the downproof cotton casing, which prevents the feathers from escaping. With gradual use over time, these threads will eventually soften up, and the crinkly sound will reduce gradually.
However, if the noise bothers you, do opt for our cotton duvet inserts instead.
Alternative down and cotton duvets are hypoallergenic; down may not suit those sensitive to feathers.
A duvet insert refers to the filled insert used with a duvet cover. A comforter is typically quilted and used without a cover. Our comparison page explains the differences across fills and constructions.
- All our inserts are OEKO-TEX certified, which means they are free from harmful chemicals
- Our down duvet is also Responsible Down Standard (“RDS”) certified. The Responsible Down Standard (RDS) aims to ensure that down and feathers come from animals that have not been subjected to any unnecessary harm
